We finally got the bathroom finished before we left on our trip to California for Thanksgiving.

Did I mention that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year? We spend a week at the beach with all the family, it is my favorite thing ever! I was so excited to take Chad this year and for him to experience it for himself.

We drove down with Mandi and Jack hauling their little 12ft trailer called "Big Red" - there is nothing big about it.

My granny was able to join us for the week from Arkansas, since she was not able to make it down for the wedding since she and her husband were in a bad car accident. She ended up breaking her arm, shattering her elbow and was in the hospital for quite some time enduring several surgeries. So she was finally able to meet Chad for the first time at the beach.

Our week at the beach entailed, eating lots of great food, playing cards, building sand castles, going kayaking in the ocean, bike rides, going for walks and hanging out with the family. We had an awesome time just like always. Chad seemed to enjoy himself and hopefully I will be able to convince him that we have to attend Thanksgiving at the beach every year for the rest of our lives!! = )
