Followers

So to the right of this post there is a new little gadget called "followers". Please sign up so I know who is staying in touch. I would love to know who is reading and has been bored by my stories so I won't make the mistake of retelling you the same story.

If there are millions of you out there that read my post and are pleasantly entertained, don't worry I won't let it go to my head.

My birthday card from Chad. . .

I forgot to post my birthday cards that I received from Chad.

Birthday Card It was hilarious and of course made my day. All the people in the video are from my department at work, Chad had me take pictures of them and send them to him.

(Can you tell I am bored at work? Going back and posting things from my birthday last month!)

Happy New Year's Eve

This week has been brutal at work. None of Senior Management has been in the office(which has been nice don't get me wrong), so it has been hard to be motivated and to get things done. If only I had some time off accrued I could be out shopping or something fun. But no, all my time off has been spent for the year and I sit here at work instead wishing I had a government job like some people I know!

Tonight we are hosting a small get together with Chad's two brothers and their wives. We are having a "fun-do" party aka fondue party. I can't wait, there is nothing better than dipping everything in cheese or chocolate. Oh how I love them both(not together of course that is just gross)!

Hopefully I can make it past my 8:30pm sleepy time and will be able to bring in the New Year. Good thing they all like to play games since that is the only thing that can keep me awake.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year, this year has been a rough one on us, but we are very thankful for everything we learned and received.

Dance Lessons

I figured in order to lose some of the baby weight that Chad and I should take some dance lessons. Here is a video of us in our dance class. You will be jealous we are so good - we are naturals!

Free money. . .

So today Chad was telling me about the Unclaimed Property website for Utah and how you can go and do a search on your name and see if you have any money out there that is owed to you. Well I did a search in Utah and found nothing, but then I checked the website for California and Washington (the other two states I have lived in) and what do you know I found $50 from an old savings account from a credit union my dad belonged to.

Yeah free money - I love getting free money. Ok it is not really free money because it was mine in the first place but it is liking finding a $50 bill in my old purse or in my jacket pocket.

So everyone go out and do a search on google for unclaimed property and the state and it will list the website you can go to. Most of the sites are fairly similar it is a search screen for last name and first name. I did a search for my last name and first initial and bammm $50.

It is my lucky day.

Go now and claim any money that is yours before the state keeps it for good. I don't know how long you have to claim your money, but I know the savings account had my address from atleast 8 years ago. So I am sure you have time to claim what is yours but why not find it now.

Happy money finding to you all. Just consider this my Christmas present to you!

Merry Christmas!

Good News

Yesterday we meet with the DR and we received good news. He told us everything we hoped for and gave us great hope for our next pregnancy.

He said there were risks with sewing up the cervix, but normally the procedure goes well and that once it is done the pregnancy is quite normal. So that means no bed rest, which I am grateful for. The 4 days in the hospital laying completely flat on my back was brutal, I am not sure if I could handle weeks or months like that. I would go crazy!

The DR said we could try and get pregnant in February, which is much sooner than we expected, but what we hoped for. So hopefully all will go well and we will be able to get pregnant again sometime next spring.

Back to work. . .

Well I am back to work today after a long couple of weeks off. Chad and I are holding together and handling the situation as best we can. We are very thankful to all our family and friends for all their love and support.

We meet with the doctor on Wednesday to see how I am recovering and see what else needs to be done. We are hopeful that we will be able to get pregnant again and go full term now that we are aware of my incompetent cervix.

Thanks again to everyone and all you have done for us. We truly appreciate everything.
