Random Stuff

This boy loves his blankets! Like I have said many times he does not like to sit still. This was my attempt to change his diaper. Bridger in the "library" - thats what my dad calls the bathroom! We got a new dishwasher the other day. Bridger was banned from the kitchen while the delivery guys were there. As soon as they left he high tailed it into the kitchen to get to his tupperware cupboard. I love his reaction to the open space.
His favorite toy one day - mom's lunch bag.

One night when I went out to dinner with some friends, the boys stayed home and had shakes. Here is Bridger immitating the blender.

Bridger loves to tickle mommy and daddy now.

15 month appointment

Bridger had his 15mo appointment and got more immunizations. While we were waiting for the Dr to come in, he discovered the stepping stool and thought it was the coolest thing. I would hold his hand and he would take a big step to get on top of the stool. Of course all the pictures I got of it are blurry - not sure if it is the operator of the camera (aka me) or him because he never stands still!!

Here are his stats
Height 32.5 in 90%
Weight 26lbs 3.5oz 75%
Head 48.5cm 85%

In the last three months he has grown an inch, 2lbs and his head of course has gotten bigger by a centimeter!

We knew he was getting taller because he used to be able to run right under the table (it is a tall pub style table) and now he is starting to skim his head.

He is being more vocal each day and starting to understand everything we say. One of these days he is just going to burst out some words! When you tell him hot he blows with his mouth. If you say it is time to go brush your teeth he runs to the bathroom. If you say milk he runs to the kitchen and waits for you to pour him some milk.

I love this picture but it is blurry - once again it is impossible to get him to sit still!!

A couple weeks ago we went to the Jazz game. We had major nosebleed seats, in fact we were second row from the very top. It was fun to watch Bridger look at all the people that looked like little bugs moving around.

He loves to help mommy sweep up the mess he makes on the floor!

He also likes to help daddy hang up laundry. (why does he love Tupperware and the hangers better than his toys??)

A couple weekends ago we went up to the Brighton Cabin and it was a beautiful day, so we decided to sit out on the deck and enjoy the sunlight. Bridger loved the snowballs we would make him. Sometimes he would just lick them and other times he threw them on the ground to see them explode.

Christmas with the Jones'

Here is a picture of Bridger and some of his cousins in their matching jammies that Grammie gave them. Bridger on the left is 13mo, Fisher in the middle is 21mo, and Derek on the right is 7mo. Why is my kid's head so FREAKIN BIG? Melon on a toothpick!!!

We had to bribe them with crackers and a banana to get them to sit still - it sort of worked.

First Caprisun

This video is mostly for my sister because she always makes fun of me when I eat because my pinky fingers always stick up! Bridger loves drinking from a straw now!

Other things he has learned to do - he loves dipping! Here is a video of him dipping his graham cracker in his yogurt.

13 months and Christmas

I am not planning on taking a picture for 13months like I did for his first twelve months of life. However he has learned so many new tricks in the last month I wanted to document them all before I forget (which will be tomorrow!).

He loves to grind his teeth which is so NOT cool! The first tooth he got was his bottom center tooth. Well he likes the noise it makes when he grinds that tooth between the gap in his upper two teeth! It is pretty much the worse sound ever! We have been working on breaking him of his binky and now I encourage him to have it so he won't grind his teeth. Not sure which is worse for him but I don't like the sound of the grinding!!!

He runs now! How did he go from taking a couple steps to running so fast? He also has learned how to stand up without pulling himself up on anything. So basically he is unstoppable now!

He is starting to get a sense of humor. He will do something and wait for our reaction and then laugh! Like the other day I was feeding him and he took a piece of food in his hand and slowly moved it down to his side and tried to hide the food. then he just giggled.

He loves tupperware. I have given him free access to the cupboard with tupperware and that is his favorite toy! I must pick it up several times a day!

He is getting taller by the second. He has learned how to stand on his tippy toes and reach the knobs on the stove. He hasn't learned to turn them thankfully, but needless to say the knobs are not on anymore unless I am cooking.

He said his first word to Chad. One day he was changing his diaper and he let Bridger hold the diaper while he was getting ready to change him. Chad repeated "Diaper" several times and then out of the blue he said it. He is starting to be more vocal but no real words other than momma, dadda and yumm.

Here he is with Santa Clause. I tried to take a video but my camera was being retarded (could have been the user!). Chad was still able to capture the sequence of events in three pictures.

We went down to temple square the other night and took some pictures. I don't think Bridger seemed too interested in the lights. I think he was just cold.

Here I am chasing Bridger and trying to scare him.

Bath Time

Bridger loves his bath time. This is just for fun, because he is so CUTE!!!

Utah Flash

We got free tickets to the Utah Flash game last week for their opening game. We invited Chad's brother's family to go with us. We also had Fisher (nephew) with us while his parents went to a Christmas party. It was interesting having two kids to tow around. We didn't get to see much of the game with 4 kids. Luckily I brought some treats to keep them entertained. Fisher kept saying "Treat please"!!
